How do I get the lyrics of a Suno song?
Open the song on suno.com and the lyrics appear under the player, where you can select and copy them. Faster: paste the song link into the free Xtools Suno downloader, then press Copy lyrics or Download lyrics for a .txt file named after the song. Save cover art at full size from the same card.
The lyrics and artwork are often what you need for a post, a lyric video or a playlist cover. Both are public on every public Suno song.
Get the lyrics
On suno.com
Open the song page. The lyrics sit under the player. Select them and copy. This works, but on a phone it is fiddly with long songs.
With the Suno downloader
- Copy the song’s link on Suno (Share → Copy link).
- Paste it into the free Suno song downloader and press Find song.
- Press Copy lyrics to put them on your clipboard, or Download lyrics (.txt) to save a
.txtfile named after the song.
You can paste up to 10 links at once, which is handy for pulling the lyrics of a whole playlist.
Get the cover art
- Load the song in the downloader the same way.
- Press Download cover art. The image saves at the largest size Suno publishes.
On iPhone, if the image opens in a tab instead, press and hold it and choose Save to Photos.
What people use them for
| You want | Use |

Ask before you reuse
Lyrics and artwork belong to the person who made the song. Quoting a line with a link back is usually fine; putting someone’s lyrics or artwork in your own release or product is not, unless they agree. The commercial use guide covers what Suno’s plans allow.
FAQ
Questions people ask
Why does a Suno song have no lyrics?
It is an instrumental, or the creator wrote lyrics only as style tags. Suno only shows lyrics that were part of the song.
What size is Suno cover art?
The downloader saves the largest version Suno publishes for that song, usually a square image well above thumbnail size. The exact size varies by song.
Can I use the cover art from someone else’s Suno song?
Ask the creator first. The artwork belongs with their song, and downloading it does not give you the right to reuse it.
Are lyrics included in the MP3?
Yes. MP3s made by the Xtools downloader carry the lyrics, title, artist and cover art as tags, so music apps that read lyrics tags can show them.
Do the lyrics include section tags like [Verse] and [Chorus]?
They keep whatever the creator typed, so you often see [Verse], [Chorus] and similar labels. Delete them in any text editor if you only want the words.
